Building on good performance: Robin Renz starts his second PRTC season
Stuttgart. The signs are good that the 2022 racing season will top the “old” 2021 season in the Pfister Racing Touring Car Challenge (PRTC). Because with Robin Renz, another racing driver who is known for providing plenty of action in the driver field, will be entering his second touring car season. The 33-year-old racer from Stuttgart (Baden-Württemberg) was able to clinch 4th place in the overall PRTC ranking in his debut season in 2021 with a total of 47 competition points, taking a sensational victory in the season opener at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben. However, he recorded his best race weekend at the Nürburgring GP circuit.
“We are pleased to welcome race driver Robin Renz back to the Pfister-Racing Touring Car Challenge (PRTC). Robin was already extraordinarily fast in his debut season, if he can now add the right consistency, then he is definitely a candidate for victory in the overall ranking,” says series organizer Andreas Pfister.
Looking optimistically towards new challenges: Robin Renz from Stuttgart
Racing driver Robin Renz is already looking forward to the upcoming racing season:
“Last year, a dream came true for me. However, my first season in motor racing was also a kind of assessment of where I stood: Where do I stand? How fast am I? To my own surprise too I was able to keep up with the leaders right from the beginning and even win the second race of my life straight away. The necessary speed to be able to fight for a podium place was always there on all tracks. Just the consistency in the race and the necessary bit of luck were missing now and then. However, this has strengthened my resolve to go into this season with a very clear objective: I want to win the title,” says Robin Renz.
